The Night Sky photographs
were first exhibited in Love Creek Bitter Springs which opened at Australian
Galleries Sydney in 2009. These deceptively simple pigment prints on cotton
rag have a painterly appearance while remaining firmly base in the photographic
discipline of non-manipulated photographs. The expansive galaxy over a desert
landscape in Central Australia is complimented by the landscape which at
times appears in surprising clarity when lit by a small crescent moon. Edition

Desert Air was an
exhibition of photographs by Greg Weight and paintings by Carol Ruff. Carol
and Greg made several art trips to Central Australia in 2006 and 2007 and
explored the landscape in and around Alice Springs for the purpose of creating
new artworks. Greg worked into the landscape making changes such as binding
senna trees in open fields and painting the small stones that were set into
the surface of claypans with watercolour paint. The results were then photographed
and printed on cotton rag paper.
